What We Do
Booking
To book a trip, just call or email us with the trip and date you have in mind.
Deposit: a 20%(of total trip cost) payment will be required to confirm your spot on a trip. Final payments are due 20 days before your trip begins. If the trip date is within 20 days please send full payment.
Payment: mail a cheque/money order to us or if you prefer we will accept payments by visa/mc or chequing account through paypal (3%fee). You can also wire funds directly into our account (contact us for info). Cheques are payable to Bluebird Guides, 646 Denver St. Whitefish, MT. 59937.
*Funds payable in US dollars for US residents; CDN for Canadian residents. Canada lodge trips are payable in CDN dollars. (currency converter)
Cancellations: if you need to cancel a reservation contact us as soon as possible. If we receive notice within 20 days you will get your deposit back less a $100 cancellation fee. 
Less than 20 days notice will forfeit your deposit. There are no refunds on lodge trips. If we can fill your spot on a trip (including lodge trips) you will always receive any money you have paid. Of course, you can avoid any money lost by purchasing cancellation insurance through Travel Guard.
Cancelled trips: if we cancel a trip you will receive a full refund. Occasionally undesirable weather or conditions will force us to go somewhere else to ski; we cannot give refunds because of this. There is almost always someplace where we can find better conditions and weather. If not, we would like to postpone the trip as the first option.
Other considerations: dependent upon your medical coverage you may want to consider a supplement policy for your trip (i.e. are you covered internationally?). Visit the travel guard web site for one easy step to full coverage for medical, evacuation, and trip cancellation policies.

Liability waiver/medical form: all guests participating on trips must read and sign a release of liability form before the trip start date. You can download the forms. Fill out the medical form and send it in with your deposit. Read (but don’t sign) the waiver and bring it with you when we meet for the trip.
